Jacob has been described by Quincy Jones as “Beyond category. One of my favourite young artists on the planet – absolutely mind-blowing”.  His debut album, “In My Room”, was released worldwide on July 1st, 2016 and went to Number 1 on iTunes Jazz in 23 countries.  

At Purcell, Jacob studied jazz piano with Simon Colam, Composition with Simon Speare and voice with Tom Marandola.  He held a scholarship funded by the Government’s Music and Dance Scheme, which offers up to 100% funding for talented dancers and musicians.
