FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 9th July 2025

The Purcell School is delighted to announce a formal partnership with the New Talent Festival. Recognising the remarkable achievements of Festival Founder Amy Yuan, many students of The Purcell School have already flourished thanks to the Festival’s unique opportunities. Strengthening this connection, The Purcell School will now offer a prize of a place at the School for a talented young musician identified through the Festival.

The collaboration highlights The Purcell School’s ongoing commitment to nurturing exceptional musical talent from around the world and supporting young musicians and their families on their artistic journeys. The School works closely with many of the Festival’s other partner organisations, ensuring a rich network of mutual support.
Speaking about the partnership, Paul Hoskins, Director of Music at The Purcell School, said: “We greatly admire Amy Yuan’s vision and what the New Talent Festival has achieved. Many of our students have benefitted from these wonderful opportunities, so it felt entirely natural to formalise this partnership by offering a place at The Purcell School. We look forward to working closely together to inspire and support the next generation of young musicians.”
