At The Purcell School, we proudly welcome day students who make up approximately one quarter of our vibrant student body. Our day students are fully integrated into the life of the school and take full advantage of the extensive opportunities available to all students. From rigorous academic programs to a rich array of extracurricular activities, day students enjoy the same enriching experiences as our boarders.

Our day students often stay into the evening, participating enthusiastically in musical performances, sports, clubs and other events that make life at Purcell so dynamic and fulfilling. This allows them to forge strong friendships and immerse themselves in the school’s unique community atmosphere.

We encourage prospective day students to live within an hour’s drive of the school to ensure they can easily participate in the full breadth of activities on offer. This proximity allows day students to enjoy a balanced lifestyle, benefitting from both the school’s nurturing environment and the comforts of home.
