Purcell Pianist Wins The International Béla Bartók Piano Competition 2024

Year 12 classical pianist Phoebe is honoured to have won The First Prize of The International Béla Bartók Piano Competition 2024 held this week in Graz, Austria. Phoebe was one of the youngest in her category of more than 30 participants and was also awarded the prestigious Béla Bartók Medal for the best performance of Bartók. Her prize includes further concerts this year in Austria.

Last weekend Phoebe also gave a one hour piano recital in London Mill Hill in aid of NW7Hub FoodBank as part of the Miele Canto Concert Series.
