Concerts Week in Review
The Concerts Department enjoyed a week of exceptional lunchtime concerts both in and out of School. These included Purcell students performing for the Three Rivers Music Society at Rickmansworth and at the Leicester International Music Festival, as well as four lunchtime concerts in our own CP Hall. The Carducci String Quartet also performed new works by Joseph Howard, former Purcell Composer in Association, and Purcell students at the Chiltern Arts Festival in Great Missenden.
Well done to all performers and composers: Gabriella, Jacqueline, Teodora, Yazdi, Jessica, Minsuk, Ivan, Herman, Dominic, Tifany, Lindsey, Henrietta, Fiona, Ella, Thomas, Edward, Maddy, Maddie, Laila, Theadora, Rocco, Nathaniel, Ekaterina, Louis, Luca, April, Ruize and Shlomi.
Purcell Physiotherapist Update
In December, Purcell Physiotherapist Sarah Upjohn was contacted by ABRSM and asked to contribute to their Examiners Conference. The conference took place in February, and Sarah was able to provide important videos about wellbeing which became part of the conference resource offering and available to all Examiners in attendance.
