Purcell Pianist triumphs at Steinway Youth Piano Competition
We were thrilled to hear that over the summer, Year 10 pianist Tristan won 1st Prize in Category C of the Steinway Youth Piano Competition. The Semi-Finals and Finals were held in Indonesia and, as the winner of Category C, Tristan also went on to represent his Country in the Regional Finals. Of the competition, Tristan commented ‘The Steinway Youth Piano Competition was a great aspiration of mine, and I hope to take part in others like it in the future.’ Congratulations, Tristan.

Organathon Countdown
With less than a week to go before Purcell’s Principal Paul Bambrough embarks upon an epic organ playing challenge, here is a video of him programming the organ being generously loaned to us by Viscount Classical Organs for the event.
And here is a short message of support from David Mason, the owner of Viscount Classical Organs.
There is still time to purchase recital tickets, details of which can be found on the timetable below, or support in the many other ways outlined on our fundraising page.
We hope to see many of you there, and thank you in advance for your support.
