Escape Room Experience
Last weekend some of the boarders took on the challenge of heading to an Escape Room. Divided into two teams they were faced with three rooms packed with puzzles, codes and clues to crack in order to escape. Racing against the clock, each team had 60 minutes to work together and figure out how to solve the clues in order to progress through the rooms and breakout! There were lots of different types of puzzles and locks to crack, and of course the added excitement of some friendly competition between the teams to see who would escape first! From hidden messages showing with a UV light, to number codes hidden in books and mysterious coordinates written on the walls there were a huge variety of creative ways that inspired critical thinking to find the answers. One of the teams managed to breakout in a record of 45 minutes whilst the other got locked in!
