Former student and renowned musician Jack Liebeck performed on Tuesday with pianist Katya Apekisheva and current student Magdalene Ho is playing on Sunday (30th) under the baton of Robert Max. “Robert Max conducts the North London Symphony Orchestra in a programme including Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No 1 with pianist Magdalene Ho, Strauss’ Fledermaus Overture, Bizet’s Carmen Suite, Tchaikovsky’s Letter Scene from Eugene Onegin, Eric Coates’ London Again Suite and the traditional last night favourites.” More information #StudentNews #AlumniNews

It’s not every day you can rock up and see world-class maestro (and Purcell President), Sir Simon Rattle, and the London Symphony Orchestra performing in an iconic location – completely for free. This Sunday (30 June), Rattle conducts the LSO – one of our partner orchestras – along with guests from Guildhall School of Music and Drama and students from the LSO On Track project, in music by Dvořák, Poulenc, Ravel and Bushra El-Turk. #PatronNews #SchoolNews
