Heartfelt congratulations to alumnus Jacob Collier, who became a two time Grammy award winner yesterday.

Jacob was nominated for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella (for You and I) and Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals (for Flintstones) at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. He was successful in both categories, and takes home not one but two prestigious statues.

At The Purcell School, Jacob studied jazz piano with Simon Colam, Composition with Simon Speare and voice with Tom Marandola. He held a scholarship funded by the Government’s Music and Dance Scheme, which offers up to 100% funding for talented dancers and musicians, and is currently on a live tour around the USA.
