With induction week at the London music colleges drawing to a close, and with university terms about to get underway, it’s time to focus on the superb achievements of this summer’s Purcell School leavers.  The statistics below are a reminder of how effectively and consistently our school prepares pupils for the next stage of their musical education.  They are also a reminder of the quality of our academic provision: the statistics feature a stellar line-up of top universities and include four Oxford places, three to read music and one to read physics.

The numbers of pupils from The Purcell School are indicated first, with the number of scholarships shown in brackets.
