Jacob Collier has been nominated for Grammy Awards for two of the arrangements on his debut album, “In My Room”, which was released worldwide on July 1st, 2016 and went to Number 1 on iTunes Jazz in 23 countries.  Flintstones has been put forward for Best Arrangement for Instruments and Vocals, and You and I for Best Arrangement for Instrumental or A Cappella.

At Purcell, Jacob studied jazz piano with Simon Colam, Composition with Simon Speare and voice with Tom Marandola.  He held a scholarship funded by the Government’s Music and Dance Scheme, which offers up to 100% funding for talented dancers and musicians.
