We asked conductor Karina Canellakis a few questions in the lead up to her London debut with us on Monday 29 February at the Royal Festival Hall.  Check out her answers here.

Karina is Assistant at the Dallas Symphony, and is making the headlines a lot – recently stepping in for Yuri Temirkanov in Copenhagen at short notice.  She made her European conducting debut in June 2015 with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe at the Styriarte Festival in Graz, stepping in for Nikolaus Harnoncourt.   In the last year she has twice made headlines following last minute step-ins for Jaap Van Zweden in Dallas, each time earning rave reviews.
