On Monday evening, five of our senior pupils gave recitals at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama‘s Milton Court Concert Hall, which was opened to great acclaim in 2013 and boasts world-class acoustic design.
The programme included a variety of music from Chopin, Brahms and Liszt, to Rodgers & Hammerstein songs with specially arranged chamber ensemble accompaniment.
This concert opportunity is one of two London recitals in autumn, given to pupils chosen by audition. The first was at Wigmore Hall in September.
