Current and former pupils joined with Toby Davies’s family yesterday at St Sepulchre’s Church in the City of London as Toby’s name was entered in the Book of Remembrance in the Musicians’ Memorial Chapel. It was a very sad but also a very proud moment, especially seeing the number of very eminent musicians who were remembered alongside Toby. He is still missed at Purcell by all who knew him.
