Congratulations to alumni flautists Emma Halnan and Daniel Shao for winning their categories at the International Award Carl Reinecke 2013 in Como, Italy. Emma won first prize in the senior category, and Daniel won first prize in the junior category of this prestigious competition.
Emma is currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music and Daniel took up his place to study music at St. Catherine’s, Oxford this autumn.
