Adam Wroblewski joined The Purcell School in 2019, shortly after the appointment of the current Principal, and serves as Bursar and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. He leads all of the School’s non-teaching services, overseeing finance, IT, HR, administration, catering, compliance and governance, employee relations and data protection, with a dotted-line responsibility for marketing and fundraising. He also oversees estates and domestic services with the support of the Director of Operations and Deputy Bursar.

Adam began his career in electronic engineering, before moving into IT engineering where he gained industry experience and professional Cisco qualifications. He holds a BSc in Computer Networks, a Diploma in School Business Management from the National College for Teaching & Leadership, and more recently, a Diploma in Individual Psychology.

Over nine years at a multi-academy trust in Berkshire, Adam progressed from IT support to Finance Director, leading multifaceted teams and managing operations across finance, estates, and support services. He played a key role in converting schools to academy status, implemented major IT and infrastructure projects, delivered balanced budgets, and secured significant government funding for capital works.

Although not a musician himself, Adam is passionate about supporting others in achieving their ambitions. He is also a qualified psychotherapist and registered practitioner with the BACP, and volunteers in his spare time. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, languages, travel, opera, and values creating conditions where his work can quietly help others flourish and succeed.
