The final note has sounded and our first Giving Day has officially come to a close.
We are thrilled to share that together we have raised £41,320 for the Bursary Fund.
To everyone who tuned in, donated, encouraged our performers or helped spread the word — thank you. You have made a genuine difference to the lives of young musicians.
If you would still like to contribute, the Giving Day site remains open.

A Message from His Majesty King Charles III
We are deeply honoured to share a special message from His Majesty King Charles III, Royal Patron of The Purcell School, warmly acknowledging our 24-hour Giving Day concert and the dedication of our performers.
“Please convey my warmest thanks to the Students, Staff and Guests of The Purcell School for their kind message, sent on the occasion of their twenty-four-hour concert which is being held today.
As your Patron, I was truly touched to be reminded of the dedicated work that you do to celebrate and encourage the musical abilities of young people. In return, I send my warmest good wishes to all those who are present for a most memorable event.”
We are incredibly grateful for His Majesty’s support and encouragement.
