I spent the first three days of this week at the annual conference of the Society of Heads. The theme was ‘Creativity and Innovation’, and we were treated to a series of talks and seminars on these topics and how they relate to education today. We were joined for one evening by a group of Purcell students who gave a recital to the assembled Heads and guests, with music by Bach, Medtner and Prokofiev. Here they are rehearsing before the concert.
