The School Chamber Choir, conducted by Edward Longstaff gave a lunchtime concert at St. Paul’s Cathedral today. A magnificent setting for the programme of unaccompanied sacred works; they performed Purcell’s I was glad, Allegri’s famous Miserere mei Deus and three works by Pierre Villette: Hymne à la Vierge, Jesu, dulcis memoria and Panis angelicus.
