Students from Juniors to Upper Sixth decided to enjoy the sunshine at lunchtime today with a game of frisbee. This contrasted nicely with last night’s wonderful concert at the Purcell Room, showing that even talented musicians need to relax.

Pianist, Martin Bartlett (LVI) and cellist, Akito Goto (UVI) are joint winners of the 2012 Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Young Musician’s Competition. They will both have the opportunity to perform a concerto with the Windsor and Maidenhead Symphony Orchestra next season.

October performers Friday evening saw the second of our three annual Wigmore Hall recitals. These concerts are a much sought after performance opportunity for our sixth form pupils, who are selected by audition. All pupils gave fantastic performances to large audiences.
