The Purcell School holds a ‘Sponsorship Licence’ under ‘Tier 4’.

  • NEW PUPILS:  All overseas pupils require a Student Visa to study at the School. This must be obtained by the pupil's family in the home country before travel to the UK.
The School will issue a CAS, an electronic document that is created by a UK Border Agency licensed sponsor, to demonstrate that they have accepted an applicant to join the School, once all registration documents have been completed and returned. Under Tier 4 an applicant must have a CAS before making an application.

  • EXISTING PUPILS:  All existing pupils must submit a Visa Sponsorship Form to the Head’s PA to have a CAS assigned for their extension of study and then submit a visa application to the United Kingdom Border Agency. Under Tier 4 an applicant must have a CAS before making an application.
Application forms may be downloaded from the UK Border Authority website:- http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/studyingintheuk/child-students/
